Available Positions
Intercon, Inc. has immediate openings for the following positions to assist in meeting the expanding needs of our growing, fast-paced company. The ideal applicant is detail oriented and has experience in manufacturing as well as knowledge of document control systems.
Position description:
Small parts assembler for wire and cable harness assembly.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related experience or training.
While performing the functions of this job, the candidate is regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.
Candidate is regularly required to stand walk and reach/grasp with hands and arms.
Candidate is regularly required to sit.
Candidate regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
Candidate is regularly required to sit or kneel.
Candidate must be able to read and utilize a ruler.
Candidate will conduct required processes to assemble product according to customer specifications.
Candidate will read work instructions and verify that wire is prepped/terminated and cut according to specification.
Crimp, plug connectors, and apply covering per customer specification.
Utilize hand tools and automatic tools, and follow ISO and other internal procedures as required.
