Open Communication
At Intercon, Inc. we value open communication with our employees and consider them a valuabel asset to our team. Every month we hold an employee meeting where we present and openly discuss sales, quality, operations status and forecasts. Employee achievements, birthdays and service anniversaries are also recognized and awarded and new employees are introduced at each meeting.
Our Community
Intercon is located in the mid-Atlantic region, midway between New York and Florida, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Just 3 to 4 hours away is our Nations capital to the North and the Tidewater region to the East, featuring historic Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Virginia Beach and the Eastern shore. Less than 2 hours away is Charlottesville, home of the University of Virginia and Monticello; Richmond the state capital; Lexington, home of Virginia Military Institute; and Blacksburg, home of Virginia Tech. Local attractions include Smith Mountain Lake, Wintergreen Resort, Appomattox Civil War Surrender Grounds, National D-Day Memorial, Peaks of Otter, the Jefferson National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway and more.
